The purpose of this position is to lead subordinate mechanics in the repairing, inspecting, operating, servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining building mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and heating systems, and necessary action to restore any electrical, plumbing or control (BAS) systems when an emergency breakdown occurs.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Occupational Qualification requirements for WL-4742-11 which includes possession of the following job elements: 73. Ability to Lead or Supervise** 2-E. Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. 25-E. Technical Practices 60. Use of Measuring Instruments 75-A. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprinting reading) 81. Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment 82-A.
