This position is in the Reserve Fleets, Office of Ship Operations, Office of the Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift, Office of the Associate Administrator for Strategic Sealift, Maritime Administration (MARAD). The incumbent will work with a crew of mechanics, riggers, and laborers assigned in two major programs aboard vessels in the National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF): deck and hull coating maintenance; and implementation of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).

Qualifications
Qualifications for the position are based on the education, training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify for the WG-07 Preservation Servicer, you must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to perform the duties without more than normal supervision. You must have:
The ability to learn how to perform general housekeeping.
The ability to learn how to apply paint coatings.
