About the Position: Accomplishes the full range of technical activity required for life-cycle infrastructure management on assessments and inspections for the Builder Sustainment Management System (SMS) and Installation Status Report (ISR) programs.
Duties
Accomplishes the full range of technical activity required for life-cycle infrastructure management on assessments and inspections for the Builder Sustainment Management System (SMS) and Installation Status Report (ISR) programs.
Conducts feasibility studies to determine if government property is properly maintained and used in accordance with current real property Category Codes (CATCODE).
Ensures all construction, Preventive Maintenance and Breakdown Maintenance that is relevant to Builder are reflected in the SMS/ISR.
Assists Team Lead and Supervisor in assessing strengths and weaknesses and provides in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made (e.g., in work methods, processes and procedures).
Provides technical/programmatic guidance to Division personnel, DPW personnel, and contractors when unusual problems or situations occur.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Specialized Experience for Other Applicants: One year of specialized experience which includes collect assessment data, and coordinate with other agencies, to ensure relevant data is reflected in the Sustainability Management System (SMS) BUILDER; and analyze data and compile reports/assessments to improve BUILDER SMS data, or to reconcile any discrepancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
