About the Position: This is a Realty Assistant GS-1101-06/07 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Tulsa District, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Management can select at either grade level. For additional information on USACE Tulsa District click Here

Duties

Prepare real estate documents for civil works and military projects, which include input into costs estimates, billings and collections and reports; detailed project reports, systems reports, memorandums, etc. Develops and prepares routine correspondence pertaining to real estate/property activities. Prepares fiscal year reports containing information on current outgrants, contracts and income by project for all civil and military projects within the District. Assigns contract numbers and develops correspondence and reports connected to outgrants. Participates in preparation of Reports of Excess to GSA identifying and disposing of land surplus to the needs of government.

Specialized Experience: For GS-06 One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Examine real estate documents; AND 2) Gather data for reports using automated systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business, Real Estate, Project Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. For GS-07 One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assist in the negotiation of new leases for various real estate programs; AND 2) Prepare correspondence or documents pertaining to real estate and property activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business, Real Estate, Project Management OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18.
