The incumbent will serve as a Laborer in the General Support Shop under the general supervisor of the Supervisory Maintenance Mechanic with the second level direction provided by the Maintenance Control Manager.

Duties

Major duties include, but are not limited to: Perform duties as a laborer in direct support of the supervisor and/or other trade and craft employees engaged in maintenance-related activities. Load, unload, separate, stack, carry materials, supplies and packaging weighing from 40 to 100 pounds with assistance. Lift, move and carry heavy objects such as heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. Dig ditches, shovel snow and perform general duties assisting craft employees. Perform operator maintenance, cleaning of all equipment and cleaning of assigned areas. Variety of manual labor tasks incidental to trade or craft work, or warehousing or construction and maintenance activities requiring application of knowledge and experience gained, on previous similar assignments. Performs other related duties as assigned.
