The National Counterterrorism Center's Directorate of Intelligence (DI) is seeking a creative and collaborative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to join a team that produces finished intelligence analysis-both strategic and targeting-on terrorist weapons and explosives capabilities and terrorist efforts to acquire chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons (CBRN). The team focuses primarily on the interest, pursuit, and use of CBRN by non-state actors and networks throughout the Middle East and Europe, including ISIS, al-Q'aida, and other violent extremists. This officer will:
Perform in-depth analyses of complex and significant national, regional, and/or global issues for senior policymakers and key components in the Intelligence Community (IC), law enforcement, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
Develop and produce a broad range of finished intelligence products in support of United States (US) foreign policy and national security interests.
Analysts have expertise across a variety of disciplines, and the team produces targeting analysis, strategic assessments, and network analysis in support of NCTC missions.
The position requires a well-rounded and savvy intelligence officer with strong interpersonal skills who can apply analytic tradecraft.
Candidates who are qualified, regardless of analytic discipline, as long as they exhibit a strong work ethic and desired skill set will be considered.

Incumbent is eligible to apply for Joint Duty credit after completing 365 days in position.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
Commitment to mission and teamwork in a highly collaborative environment.
Analytic and critical thinking skills, including superior ability to think strategically.
Core analytic skills, including analyzing and interpreting complex all-source intelligence for non-expert customers, briefing, and crafting sophisticated written production, or related transferable skills.
Attention to detail and an ability to drive an account through in-depth research that draws on a wide range of sources.
Creative problem-solving skills and initiative in carrying out mission responsibilities.
At least one year of experience as an all-source analyst at a national intelligence agency, federal law enforcement organization, military service component, or combatant command, or an an undergraduate or graduate degree with a focus in fields related to CBRN nonproliferation, explosive materials, or unmanned aircraft systems is required. Individuals with technical backgrounds in the fields of chemistry, microbiology, immunology, infectious disease or public health, radiological safety, and engineering are encouraged to apply.
Desired Requirements:
Analytic experience covering scientific, engineering, weapons, or counterterrorism topics.
B.S. or advanced degree in a technical field, including Chemistry, Biology or Nuclear sciences or engineering.
Knowledge of Contracting Officer's Technical Representative concepts and principles.
