About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington.

Duties

Responsible for overall fund control to include formulation of MAMC's multi-million-dollar budget which includes departments, divisions and sections that provide different services. Maintain oversight for submission of requests to establish/update MAMC's account processing codes to ensure accuracy and compliance with appropriate accounting guidelines. Develop fund control procedures in all phases of the formulation, programming, planning, and execution phases of the MAMC budget. Issue cost ceilings to program directors. Review and analyze cost accumulations versus approved budget estimates and monthly obligation reports.

Requirements

  • This position requires Tuberculosis (TB) Testing.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
  • This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position requires the incumbent obtain a Financial Management Level 2 Certification.
