You will serve as an Electronic Technician in the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
Obtain and analyze technical data on electronic measuring devices to determine applicability to the design of a measurement system for specialized testing.
Select proper combinations of measurement equipment on the basis of data requirements and other factors such as form of output, system accuracy, consistency of calibration and physical characteristics.
Assist in the design of test equipment to be used in the testing of electronic system and equipment.
Review ATE work requests for feasibility of task within the framework of existing or programmed ATE equipment for compliance with applicable governing directives.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Tower qualifications certification.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Providing electronics technical assistance for projects involving the design, construction, and testing of electronic systems and subsystems.
