About the Position: Serve as a Program Manager for Military program activities for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD).
This position will be filled in one of the seven LRD District locations or LRD Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.
Duties
Review monthly program reports, engineering estimates and design reports and other financial and statistical data to determine the District-level implementation of the project management system and its effective utilization.
Review and evaluate District-level program execution with regard to HQUSACE and DOD criteria.
Maintain overall knowledge of the progress of projects, coordinating with Districts, HQUSACE and MACOM level customers, program schedule and budget changes and providing assistance or direction for improvements.
Review District operating plans, approaches and procedures, recommends overall program priorities, procedures, and short and long range goals.
Advise on preparation, negotiation and execution of Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) and Project Management Plans (PMPs) ensuring consistency with program schedules and programming and budgetary policies set by Congress, DOD, and HQUSACE.
Participate and monitor Project Review Board (PRB) meetings and maintains situational awareness of significant issues and actions impacting program mission execution.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting with the preparation, approval, and updating of project management plans; reviewing and recommending action of military programming activities; and assisting with managing project milestones and budgets for design and constructions projects.
