This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Alaska Region, Division of Transportation in Anchorage, Alaska.

Duties
Responsible for tracking Single Audits containing Tribal Transportation Program findings from receipt through corrective action and management decision milestones.
Responsible for monitoring funds allocated, committed, obligated, expended, and providing financial reports on a recurring, or as-requested, basis.
Conducts programmatic, administrative, and operational policies and procedures and advisory services on issues of substantial scope and impact throughout the organization.
Provides technical assistance and training to tribes and tribal organizations on all aspects of the transportation program from inception of planning through project completion.
Participates in comprehensive transportation program reviews for individual tribes.
Responsible for providing training to incoming staff.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-0343).
GS-12: I have at least one year of specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience is providing oversight for planning, monitoring, and allocation of organizational resources for respective program operations; make changes or adjustments in the programs and in their implementation to ensure maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of program operations; present cost/benefit estimates; consolidate work efforts into spreadsheets and written reports, develop, collect, organize, evaluate and validate data for narrative and graphical reports.
