About the Position: Utilizes practical knowledge of engineering methods and techniques to perform the following office engineering and quality assurance duties associated with construction contract management and administration at a Construction Resident/Project Office.

Duties

Serves as the Area Office's coordinator and liaison person between contractor Government and Architect/Engineer firms and personnel for the receiving, reviewing and dissemination of RFI's, shop drawings and submittals. Reviews contract modifications originating in the field office. Reviews and processes monthly contractor payment estimates for all contracts including unit price, cost reimbursement, multi-funded and design/build. Promptly complete or coordinate all contract administration actions necessary to close out construction contracts within established time standards.
