This position is located at the White Earth Health Center in Ogema, MN. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a janitor, performing the full range of cleaning tasks in an assigned area following general instruction on the janitorial work to be accomplished. The incumbent of this position reports to the Custodial Worker Supervisor.

Duties

Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using brooms, mops, light and heavy types of vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers and buffers. Cleans and maintains restrooms to ensure orderly and sanitary condition. Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment in order to perform the janitorial work. Moves heavy furniture and equipment in order to complete cleaning task. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Candidates for this position will be evaluated under the Federal Wage System (FWS) Job Grading Standards.
