Duties
Serve as a liaison between the PM and other DA, DOD activities and industry engaged in related International Program activities.
Arrange for briefings on the weapon system, attends official functions as a representative of the PM.
Conduct foreign market surveys to determine what technologies are available from allied sources that might meet program requirements.
Participate in the development, presentation, and justification of budget requests.
Participate in the development and execution of all international agreements for the weapon system.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel away from your permanent duty station requirement of up to 30% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Manager -
Practitioner certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: 1) Providing managerial oversight for acquisition programs; 2) Knowledge of non-Program of Record and/or non-standard acquisition programs 3) Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales Policy and Procedure; 4) Monitoring program authority to include coordinating price, availability, and analyzing current and/or future funding requirements; 5) Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales Case Development and Execution activities, and what organizations roles are in the process; and 6) Development and deployment of Foreign Military Sales training materials.
The definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or (GS-13)
