You will serve as a AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANAGER in the AIR TEST AND EVALUATION SQUADRON, MAINTENANCE DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will execute Maintenance and Material Control Officer (MMCO) duties. You will assist in developing new Performance Work Statement and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan documentation as the squadron maintenance workload changes with acquisition program activities. You will assist Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division Procurement and Naval Test Wing Pacific in the development of all aircraft maintenance contracts. You will ensure subordinates obtain training necessary to perform their duties and supervisors have the tools and information needed to carry out their duties.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time

• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating experience with Research, Development, Test and Evaluation of flight and ground test support activities; 2) Demonstrating experience with Maintenance Material Control Officer (MMCO); 3) Overseeing quality assurance and surveillance of naval aviation maintenance; 4) Evaluating work performance of subordinates and recommending official performance ratings.
