Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-09 level, you must have one of the following:
1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level defined as assisting in monitoring projects or program operations; and preparing and/or analyzing reports;
master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related; the education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position;
equivalent combination of education and experience.
To qualify for the GS-11 level, you must have one of the following:
1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level defined as participating in projects and/or studies to assist with program planning and efficiency; and preparing and/or analyzing reports;
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related; the education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position;
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Ability to use automated reporting software and/or systems; 2) Skill in oral communication; 3) Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess program development; 4) Ability to work on a team; 5) Knowledge of program related policies, laws, regulations, and/or procedures; 6) Ability to analyze policies, laws, regulations, and/or procedures; 7) Skill in written communication.
