This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in DISA HC/HYBRID CLOUD BROKER OFFICE.

Duties

Collaborates with heads of other units to negotiate, decide, and/or coordinate work-related changes affecting other units. Develops subordinate supervisory evaluations and evaluates performance. Assures reasonable equity of performance standards and rating techniques developed by subordinate supervisors and reviews evaluations.

Requirements

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
  • This position requires a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • This is a drug testing position.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station for TDY using regularly scheduled military or commercial transportation.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate on their resume that they have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Attention to Detail - experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards Customer Service - developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs Oral Communication - briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience Problem Solving - identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions For the GG-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of qualifying experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GG-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GG-13 if outside the Federal service, is required. Qualifying experience is defined as experience supervising management teams and other personnel, executing fiduciary and fiscal planning oversight of expenditures by applying sound fiscal management concepts/practices to maximize current resources within budgetary constraints and providing executive project management and senior level direction over computing resources to include infrastructure optimizations, governance, standardization initiatives, transformation objectives. The incumbent manages plans, policies, and strategy for operations and maintenance of the Hybrid Cloud Broker, and has strong customer engagement, marketing, and sales related skills and experience. In addition to meeting the qualifying experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, regency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of the competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position.
