About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command was established on March 14,2008. The mission of the ACC is to oversee more than $85 billion in contracts annually and focus on maintaining and improving the Army's ability to respond globally in support of the warfighter's needs.

Duties

Serve as a Procurement Analyst with responsibility to advise and assist with the development of acquisition strategies, source selection plans, Requests for Proposals, and evaluation criteria for complex acquisitions. Advise on requirements and provisions associated with the source selection process. Develop and maintain a library of regulations, policies, guidance, source selection plans, Requests for Proposals, lessons learned, decision papers, and related documents. Analyze higher authority policies, guidance, and regulatory changes and determines its effect on the Command’s procurement program. Provide expert advice and guidance on the formulation and conduct of source selection teams.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
• Must file financial statement.
