About the position: This is a Flexible (Flex) position located at the Ft Eustis Aoto Hobby Shop on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Flex positions have no guaranteed hours but can work 0-40 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work.
Duties
Responsible for assisting in the operations and maintenance of the auto complex, individual is responsible for greeting customers in a courteous and professional manner, and assisting with any inquiries, Operates a cash register. Schedules bays for customer use and may be required to suggest a variety of tools based upon the job being performed, Assists with inventory. Ensures area is maintained in a clean and safe condition. Opens and closes the facility as required. Ensures that all patrons adhere to established safety policies. Takes parts orders from patrons. Operates vehicles in the course of daily duties. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Cash handling experience is desirable; however, no experience is required. Works on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 40lbs. Must satisfactorily complete pre-ernployment physical Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACl). This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
