Duties
Analyzes the monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions upon the financial posture of a small to medium installation MWR.
Apply accounting concepts when rendering financial guidance to managers and division chiefs.
Responsible for development and formulation of the annual operating budget to include the five- year plan and narrative.
Ensures the provision of general supply and support services to the NAF activities within the command directorate.
Requirements

- A one-year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
one (1) year of work experience which includes, but is not limited to, duties such as:
analyzing monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions,
interpreting budget guidance,
evaluating financial statements and preparing financial reports using the theories, principles, practices and techniques of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
experience in an internal review or auditing field.
HIGHLY PREFERRED are those candidates that possess both the minimum qualifications above and:
A minimum of five years' work experience that demonstrates the ability to apply financial accounting principles, methods, and techniques of fiscal management, with a strong background in budget preparation, payroll management, internal controls and financial systems reporting., AND/OR
Experience coordinating labor and staffing issues with Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Personnel Office and pay systems., AND/OR
Experience analyzing NAF monthly financial reports to include variance, Capital Project/Major Construction (CPMC) execution and cash flow projections., AND/OR
Demonstrated ability to determine resource needs and allocation of resources for both appropriated fund (APF) and non-appropriated fund (NAF) budgets and analysis of financial data.
