Duties

Perform work utilizing the automated database, Central Issue Facility System-Army (CIF-Army), to process issues, turn-ins, direct exchanges and temporary loans to individuals. Responsible for all safety, environmental and security requirements. Assist in the operation and maintenance within the general warehousing plan and customer satisfaction. Conduct inventory and signs shipping documents and forwards to the appropriate supply clerk with discrepancies noted. Assemble items for turn-in to warehouse for stock, to shops for repair, to laundry for cleaning, turn-in to property disposal or shipping to other location.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent is required to be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to operate a forklift up to 2,000 pounds is required. May be required to operate small vehicles and trucks up to 5-tons.
  • This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete a physical examination exam.
