Serves as an Administrative Office in a Flight Standards Functional Area. Incumbent is responsible for performing multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of the manager. May work as a team member on various projects. Responsible for providing or obtaining a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the organization.

Duties

The paramount qualifications required are detailed knowledge and understanding of management principles, practices, methods, and techniques, and skill in integrating management services with the general management of the organization. Incumbent is responsible for providing advice and guidance on varying fiscal and administrative matters to management.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 levels. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Education

Education substitution for qualifications - At the FV-Glevel, a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, may be substituted for experience. Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
