You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST for the Naval Aviation Additive Manufacturing Program in the Support Equipment Department (BL20000) of the SE AND ALRE GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will manage the execution of the requirements of a Logistics Team for major complex aviation Support Equipment (SE) program as a member of an Integrated Program Team.
You will coordinate SE acquisition logistics and life cycle support utilizing most of the logistics support elements, maintenance planning, design interface, supply support, technical publications.
You will review, evaluate, and assess SE availability and supportability to identify and recommend mitigation strategies for readiness/sustainment issues.
You will formulate, direct, interpret and apply SE logistics policies and processes to efficiently and effectively deliver SE readiness, and communicate orally and in writing to enhance the quality and effectiveness of SE logistics support.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Managing the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for major complex, aviation support equipment (SE) or aircraft launch and recovery (ALRE) systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements. 2) Evaluating progress in attaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) objectives determining the need for action in order to correct deficient performance. 3) Ensuring the compliance of functional organization milestones and performance identifying project requirements, resources, equipment and workloads to maintain goals. 4) Developing long-range plans identifying critical support areas, resources and their availability to determine the impact of program and budgetary changes. 5) Developing and reviewing aircraft Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERDs) for Integrated Product Support requirements in support of aircraft Peculiar Support Equipment acquisitions.
