This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief of Operations, Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings, Air Conditioning Section. The incumbent will serve as an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Helper or Worker performing tasks involving installing, repairing and modifying air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems that regulate climatic conditions and becomes familiar with Building Automation System Network (BASnet). 

Duties

This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee will be required to report to work during emergencies AND inclement weather situations.

Requirements

  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate the job-related KSAs.
  • Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

Qualifications

You must meet the Screen-out element for this position which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this position.  The screen-out element for this position is: WG-05:     Performs the work of a Air Conditioning Equipment Helper without more than normal supervision. WG-08:    Performs the work of a Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Worker without more than normal supervision. ***NOTE:  This experience MUST be clearly and fully supported in your resume.
