Duties
You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist responsible for applying knowledge of information technology to solve a variety of component level through system of system level technical problems primarily cloud based.
You will lead research, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment activities for Cloud Based/Cloud Native software and systems supporting the Business Information Technology (IT) systems.
You will serve as a technical leader and/or subject matter expert (SME) for cloud technologies on an integrated product team (IPT).
You will lead multidisciplinary teams to accomplish complex technical tasks and review work products and deliverables of team members and subordinates.
You will seek out appropriate work opportunities within the assigned IPT and independently plan, organize, and lead execution of these opportunities with little to no supervisory oversight.
You will present technical/project status to appropriate team members, project leadership and supervisory chain identifying major accomplishments, risks, and opportunities.
You will support the development, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 632 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Software development methodologies, designing the modern digital engineering and software solution/service technologies, hardware and software engineering processes, and evaluating software architecture models.
Your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Application Software: Design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing application software. Develop software solutions which provide integrated information management and information technology capabilities to meet specified warfighter and business requirements.
2. Cybersecurity: Protect and defend information and information systems in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. (AKA Information Assurance)
3. Enterprise Architecture: Develop and manage the enterprise structural framework to align information technology (IT) strategy, plans, and systems with the missions, goals, and processes of the organization.
4. Information Technology System Design: Design software, hardware, and technology architecture that optimize user's performance to accomplish required business outcomes.
