This position is located on the Wolf Creek Forest Service Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Glide, OR.
The incumbent is responsible for performing duties as a Training Leader for the Culinary Arts skills training program.

Duties
Instructs and demonstrates basic and advanced cooking processes.
On a regular and recurring basis leads 3 or more advanced cooking students in the performance of on and
off site related projects.
Responsible for instructing students in meal planning, menu scheduling, storage of food, inventory, food production, sanitation, personal hygiene, safety, operation of equipment, serving, preparation for inspection, and other food related areas.
In coordination with the Work Programs Officer and/or Assistant WPO, the incumbent implements a flexible classroom and on-the-job training instruction program,
Works with supervisor to develop lesson plans, obtaining textbooks and educational materials for use in the classroom, conducting the sessions, evaluating the students’ progress and advising and counseling individual enrollees.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.
