Duties
The United States Space Force (USSF) at Los Angeles Space Force Base is searching for an Intelligence Specialist to support SSC/BZ (GG-0132-13).
Description:
The United States Space Force, Space Systems Command, Directorate of Intelligence is seeking a motivated and highly skilled acquisitions intelligence analyst. Candidate will be supporting cutting-edge development and acquisition of Department of Defense space capabilities:
1. Serves as a multi-source Intelligence Specialist.
2. Provides Intelligence support to DoD/USAF Acquisition programs, systems, and processes.
3. Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of program office, service, national, and/or coalition customers.
4. Serves as an Intelligence authority on specific ISR programs, systems, or issues.
Ideal Candidate:
Intelligence analyst experience, acquisitions intelligence experience, technical bachelor's degree, and formal training. Additionally, strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, intelligence background, and good at professional relationships and collaboration.
5-10 years of intelligence analyst experience, 3-5 years acquisitions intelligence experience, technical bachelor's degree, and formal training. Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, and USSF.
2. Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapon system's lifecycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USSF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises.
3. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
6. Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resources, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days a pay period.
- PCS and incentives are authorized.

- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI clearance.
- Position will be closed after 5 business days or after 75 applications are received.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours and/or Shift work may be required which may include overtime and/or irregular hours.
- This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
