Duties
Handles incoming calls and at times may assist with greeting visitors and employees when arriving off the ferry.
Supports EEO and Safety programs.
Maintains central division files and office files.
Assists Tenant manager in collection of housing documents from tenants and maintaining check-in calendar.
Uses computers and appropriate software for data collection, analysis, collating and preparation of reports, forms and tabular material, providing proper spacing, heading and arrangement for ease of understanding and information processing.
Prepares in final format from field notes or drafts, correspondence, including letters, memoranda, work schedules, and reports.
Prepares and maintains budget documents, conducts micro purchases and records expenditures from purchase documents.
Prepares and tracks payroll.
Assists property coordinator to enter new property and property inventories.
Travel Coordinator
Prepares and receives all incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
Types 40 wpm.
Qualifications
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-03/21/2024-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.
Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: This position performs clerical duties that require proficiency in typing. This position requires that the applicant be able to type 40 words per minute (WPM) and the applicant will self certify as such. Candidates who do not meet this requirement by close of this announcement will receive no further consideration for this position.

To qualify for this position at the GS-05 grade level, you must possess at least of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: knowledge of maintaining a filing system both electronic and hard copy, the use of computers to develop correspondence, memos, forms and other standardized documents, experience preparing time and attendance, the administrative processes and procedures in travel, and knowledge of commonly used software including word processing. You must include start and end dates and hours per week worked on your resume.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least four years of education above high school (120 semester hour or 180 quarter hours) leading to a bachelor's degree. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school. You must include transcripts.

Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. You must include transcripts.

accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Transcripts do not need to be official, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.

education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that your education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
