Duties
You will prepare and records online lectures and manage asynchronous online instruction to support USNCC's Naval Core curriculum.
You will be responsibility for teaching 12 courses per year.
You will work with instructional design team, builds course modules, revise them based on assessment, evaluation data and ensures all materials are up-to-date.
You will work with the Dean and/or Associate Dean and other faculty members, plans and develop segments of the Naval Core curriculum program.
You will plan, develop programs of instruction for and teaches elective courses addressing naval and military studies.
You will serve as faculty advisor to students in academic program decisions in selection of topics for individual and group research in research methods, and the preparation of papers and oral presentations.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
-Experience preparing online lectures and managing online instruction to support curriculum in different fields (Regional studies, international relations and comparative politics, American government, formulation of security policies in the Sea Service etc.).
-Experience teaching multiple courses per year and building, revising course modules, and providing constructive feedback to undergraduate college students.
-Experience serving as a faculty advisor in academic programs related to military studies, naval science, or similar academic discipline.
GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience assisting with the preparation of online lectures and managing online instruction to support curriculum in different academic fields (Regional studies, international relations and comparative politics, American government, formulation of security policies in the Sea Service etc.).
- Experience assisting with administering multiple college-level courses per year and building and revising course modules based on student and instructor feedback.
???????-Experience teaching college-level courses in an online format at an accredited college or university.

Basic Requirements
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
or
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
or
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Education GS-11: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. You may also qualify with a combination of education and experience which equals up to 100%
