You will serve as a Supply Clerk (Office Automation) in the Consolidated Materials and Service Center of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will use a database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, sort, calculate, or retrieve data for supply reports.
You will collaborate demand planning with customers to meet outcome-based measures for success.
You will accomplish document control work (e.g., processing receipts, adjusting documents, file record maintenance) according to established organizational supply policies and procedures.
You will brief management on the status, updates, or other business information regarding supplies or material.
You will use automated systems to process transactions, report data, and correspond with customers.
You will identify potential discrepancies and notify higher level staff or management.
You will replenish and maintain appropriate stock levels.
You will provide customer service support by conducting sales transactions using the General Services Administration (GSA) Point of Sales System.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least two full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
