Duties

Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders. Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages.. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Attend Team Member Orientation within 30 days of employment.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Stands, walks and stoops and stretches, for long periods of time, handling food and beverage trays and good containers, seldom weighing more than 40 pounds.
• Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
• Required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports.
• Work is primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation. Danger of slipping on wet or polished floors. May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: No prior training or work experience required. Best Qualified Qualifications: At least six months of experience working in a bar, restaurant, or catering. Applicants meeting the minimum and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. In order to be considered Best Qualified, your resume must show that you meet BOTH minimum qualifications and ALL of the Best Qualified Criteria.
