Duties
You will review, plan, lay out, and schedule work from blueprints, sketches, drawing, specifications, and work orders in the construction and maintenance of installation facilities.
You will provide material supply support for production, overhaul, repair, maintenance and other operations.
You will determine stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items.
You will reconcile stock record balances, correct routine discrepancies (e.g./ recording errors, or errors in work order misidentification).
You will schedule work to be accomplished, arrange work site safety checks, specialized equipment deliveries, underground utility marking, and utility outages.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Emergency overtime may be required.
- Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position.
- This position requires the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth.
- Work conditions require the employee to drive a government motor vehicle. The employee is required to maintain a government driver's license at all times for this position. Government driver's license training will be provided by the government.
