This position is located in Lisle, Illinois, Region III, Division of Resource Management and Administration, Technology and Information Resources Branch. The supervisor is Dana P. Bax.  This position is in the Bargaining Unit with the National Treasury Employees Union, Chapter 208.  Expenses associated with interview and/or relocation will not be paid. This position is not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements.  NRC EMPLOYEES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Duties

Performs a full range of activities to support regional, divisional, and branch objectives including oversight of regional and resident inspector office property and supply functions, space management, records management, and coordination of property inventory functions. Responsible for bank card purchases, including purchasing office supply items and reviewing procurement requests to determine availability of requested items. Handles facility operational needs, including shipping and receiving, general maintenance, conference room setups, internal moves, stocking breakrooms and self-supply room. Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on various contracts and or purchases orders. Responsible for the administration and coordination of the Regional Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) activities.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must have at least one year specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.  A description of how you possess the specialized experience, as well as how you meet the qualifications desired in an ideal candidate should be addressed in your resume.   SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Demonstrated experience performing a wide range of activities such as oversight and purchasing of property and supply items, reviewing procurement requests, space management, records management, coordination Experience in administration and coordination of FOIA. A description of how you possess the specialized experience as well as how you meet the qualifications desired in an ideal candidate should be addressed in your resume. The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate in their resume: Knowledge of the NRC's organization and administrative management functions such as the FOIA Program. Knowledge of government regulations and procedures governing property activities.  Knowledge of financial management procedures to effectively control funds and estimate requirements.  Demonstrate skills in communicating information, ideas, and advice in a clear, concise, and logical manner, both orally in in writing.  Must be able to lift between 50 and 75 lbs.
