About the Position: This position is located in Aurora, Colorado. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Coordinating fraud and abuse investigative activities. Executing anti-fraud/abuse policies and procedures. Monitoring and providing oversight of contractor program integrity activities. Developing and supporting cases for criminal fraud/abuse prosecutions and civil fraud/abuse lawsuits. Initiating and taking administrative actions to enforce provisions of law, regulation and policy.

Requirements

• This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: developing reliable audit methodologies/statistical sampling techniques to support allegations; developing or executing anti-fraud/abuse policies and procedures to support investigations; and performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of healthcare data to identify patterns of probable fraudulent or abusive practices. . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
