This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level 3 within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MGMT OFC (HC22)

Duties

This position serves as a Chief for the User Experience and User Engagement Division. Engages with stakeholders to understand mission needs and support or guide successful use of Cloud resources and services. Assigns work based on project priorities, work difficulty, and employee ability. Plans and directs analytical research and studies of a pioneering nature to develop new methods, procedures, techniques, and approaches to ensure consideration of security criteria, guidance, and methodology are applied to cloud capabilities. Performs strategic planning, programming and budgeting for cloud programs with the support of an interdisciplinary team of computer technical and security specialists, engineers, and resource managers. Oversees multiple projects executed by subordinate project or team leaders, providing technical guidance to assure optimal outcomes for services and solutions. Supervises the development and origination of information, techniques, and methodologies applicable to the protection of enterprise commercial cloud environments as well as strategies and techniques designed to provide cyber situational awareness.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
• This position requires experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). HC22 provides a wholistic CRM view supporting user engagement and development efforts.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below Basic Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate on their resume that they have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. - Attention to Detail - Customer Service - Oral Communication - Problem Solving Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing and managing a cyberspace operations program; experience leading and supervising a team of subordinates. Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-15 grade level.
