About the Position: This position is with The US Army Military District of Washington/Joint Task Force-National Capital Region, Ceremonies and Outreach Directorate, located at Ft. McNair, DC.

Duties

Provide technical support for television production/broadcast operations. Maintain and troubleshoot visual information equipment. Perform testing and evaluation of new equipment to verify that specifications have been met or minor modifications can be made. Perform repair, replacement, and modification of parts/components essential for maintaining optimal operational capability of television system Recommend, operate, and maintain Information technology systems to include organizational computer technology and equipment. Plan, organize, and execute projects involved in the engineering, integration, and maintenance of equipment and systems common to the visual information industry.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Required to hold or obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification within 120 days of employment.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, and crouch or crawl in confined areas is required.
  • Commensurate with mission requirements, the incumbent may be required to work irregular duty hours to include working weekends, holidays and being on call.
