Duties

The Multimedia Consultant (MMC) is responsible for selling all products and services using the customer-focused consultative selling process. The MMC will effectively provide client program solutions by mixing appropriate amounts of newspaper print, web and other digital applications, special magazines, inserts, commercial print, circulation, events and other promotions. The MMC manages an assigned group of current accounts and is responsible for building relationships and growing revenue from that group. The MMC identifies prospects, moves them through the sales process from proposal to purchase order, monitors production, tracks result and maintains the relationship through routine follow-up contacts. The MMC will interact with other departments in a collegial fashion to execute client solutions and achieve organizational goals, adhere to procedures and support the mission.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's permit (US and/or local military-issued license in assigned area) required.

Qualifications

Three years of specialized experience performing similar duties as described above. A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or a related discipline may be substituted for two years of required experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience must be reflected in your resume to receive credit. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a multimedia company or agency selling advertising with a digital focus. Have a working knowledge of the military and MWR community.
