Job opening: ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC

Salary: $33 - 39 per hour

You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC in the FACILITIES SUSTAINMENT BRANCH PRODUCTION DIVISION, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (PWD), NAVAL FACILITIES NAVAL COMMAND (NAVFAC) Southwest of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will manipulate tools, wiring, or test equipment parts to make repairs on electronic industrial controls equipment. You will assess electronically controlled industrial equipment damage when planning repair and modification projects by visiting work sites. You will analyze diagnostic test readings and operating conditions of electronically controlled industrial equipment to isolate system malfunctions. You will use vacuum tube voltmeters to prevent loading of high impedance circuits when testing for operating voltages.
