Duties
You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on all logistics aspects of assigned projects/programs.
You will resolve technical or procedural deficiencies based on system readiness and life cycle cost data analysis.
You will provide input to Program Management in support of managing cost, schedule and product support performance.
You will interpret configuration management activities and tools; working with the configuration manager for projects; suggesting alternative revisions and assisting in implementation of new strategies.
You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provide input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a drug testing position. You will subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: demonstrating skill in developing acquisition documents such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Performance Work Statements, and other plans and demonstrating ability to apply IPS elements (sustaining engineering, training, and training support, manpower and personnel, maintenance planning, supply support, etc.) to plan and manage product support for communication AND at least one year experience assisting in the curriculum development and training design for various types of technology-delivered-instruction such as computer-based training (CBT), web-based training, electronic performance support, etc.
