In this position, you will serve as a senior expert Logistics Management Specialist who will identify specific requirements for money, manpower, facilities and services needed to support day-to-day and disaster operations.

In this Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist position, you will responsible for identifying and integrating significant internal and external program, policies, procedures, practices, and systems that may affect the entire agency in all areas of logistics management.

To qualify for this Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist position at the IC-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Performing Supervisor/Team Lead duties in assigning work to subordinates;
Performing work which involves planning, execution and coordinating and evaluating logistical organizations;
Conduct cost-benefit analysis to identify the best course of action for logistics activities;
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations;
Performing as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for readiness contracts.
