About the position: This position will be assigned to the 28 Bistro on Ellsworth AFB.
This is a flexible work schedule with no minimum guaranteed hours; however you may work up to 40 hours per week.
Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Duties
Operates a limited coffee/bar operation with pre-package snacks and drinks.
Prepares a limited variety of hot beverages by selecting, mixing, and brewing ingredients according to the number of servings required.
Operates a cash register, rings-up sales, and accept payments and processes change to patrons.
Performs inventories and identifies items for re-ordering and orders through vendors.
Provides needed information or decisions from supervisors on problems that arise during work; demonstrates work methods and provides work-relat4ed guidance; ensures that employees follow security, safety, and housekeeping guidelines

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in and knowledge of food preparation and characteristics of food. Must possess skills in dealing with the public. Knowledge in mixology is desired.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
