About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eagle Creek Golf Course on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis.

Duties

The purpose of this position is to provide mowing services to fairways, roughs and greens; weed control and fertilizer application on the golf course. Operates field-type tractors with attachments to maintain the grasses at the golf course. Operates a variety of equipment to include but not limited to the following: mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, clippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, moveable dozer, blades, backhoe, and other equipment ranging from small handheld applicators to tractor drawn liquid and solid dispensers. Makes all adjustments to equipment to ensure proper settings, connections, and mechanical soundness of equipment. Observes all safety rules and regulations pertaining to vehicle operation. Performs operator maintenance on field-type tractors and related equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, reach and climb.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
