As the Division Chief, you will manage, and oversee the efforts of a team of engineering analysts conducting analysis to respond to warfighter needs around the world.

Serves as first level supervisor, technical authority, and advisor for division.

- Incumbent must have or be capable of obtaining and retaining a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing program. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Qualifications
Only applicants who meet the area of consideration are eligible to apply for this job. In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education and/or specialized experience requirements.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. Specialized Experience?is defined as work in the private or public sector performing duties in or related to the work of the position being filled.
Examples of specialized experience include leadership experience, experience developing/executing advancement requirements, experience training/mentoring others, and technical ability and knowledge across a variety of national security/DoD topics and quantitative social science analytic methods. Ability to formulate objectives and priorities, risk assessment and execute plans.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the DR-II (GS-13 equivalent) position in the federal service.

Leadership experience guiding employees and projects. Experience in professional development of colleagues/employees.
Knowledge of Department of Defense policies governing personnel management responsibilities such as timekeeping guidance, leave, conduct and disciplinary actions.
Experience with engineering, operations research and networks/systems analysis, intelligence data, quantitative engineering methods and models, and other quantitative analytic methods and models.
Ability to design and implement strategies, which maximize employee potential and foster high ethical standards in meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals.
Experience designing and implementing innovative programs, processes, and solutions. Experience working with contracts, financial/budget planning and execution.
Experience in presenting information, both orally and in writing, technical methods and approaches and technical and/or resource requirements.
Experience in conducting workforce planning and resource allocation to maximize utilization of scarce resources.
Experience in executing tasking and delivering technical solutions to warfighting customers.
