In this position, you will work as a member of the Region 10, Mitigation Division team. The ideal candidate for this position will be managing an environmental compliance program for an organization, supervising Environmental/Historic Preservation (EHP) professionals, and advising senior leaders on EHP compliance related to disaster preparedness, recovery, and mitigation grant programs.

To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Drafting and reviewing environmental policies, assessment documents, consultations, or impact statements; and, Managing or directing work to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental/historic preservation regulations and standards; and Serving as a subject matter expert on federal laws and regulations to protect environmental and historic resources.
