Qualifications
In addition to the educational requirements, we are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as analyzing data to improve organizational performance; and submitting recommended solutions to management.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of concepts, theories, designs and interactions of database systems; 2) Knowledge of records management concepts, practices, policies, and procedures sufficient to develop and manage the organization’s records and information management program; 3) Skill in written communication; 4) Skill in obtaining, compiling, and summarizing narrative information and data for use by others; 5) Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, analyze, and resolve a range of issues; 6) Skill in oral communication; 7) Skill in using the principles, practices, and methods of data analysis; 8) Skill in contract management.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
You need a degree or combination of education and experience as described below to qualify for this position.
You must have a bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or field directly related to the position; OR a combination of education and experience with courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours), as listed.
