The ideal candidate for this position will experience with grant management, awarding and administering grants, or other related instruments as well as experience with understanding grants related laws, policies and procedures and applying them to a grant portfolio.

Qualifications
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The time-in-grade and qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:
Researching and assisting in implementing internal policies, procedures, and systems,
Reviewing grant applications in accordance with regulations and policies,
Assisting with the administration of grant programs (e.g., providing information regarding applications, administration of grant awards, monitoring processes, and grant closures.),
Providing customer service to recipients of grants, contracts, etc.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
