Duties
As a Intelligence Research Specialist, you will:
Analyze, evaluate and interpret all-source intelligence data and other sources of classified and unclassified information pertaining to public health intelligence, counterintelligence and/or insider threats, with an emphasis on supply chain risk management and resiliency
Implement a comprehensive defensive counterintelligence supply chain risk management program that supports the agency's overall supply chain risk management strategy and is directed towards the protection and resiliency of Agency products, information, and service
Represent the agency through liaison activity with other government entities and ensure the agency remains aware of threats which may impact the agency's mission
Share information in the interagency intelligence-sharing framework and remain abreast of current intelligence issues that impact the agency and its public health mission
Plan research into proposed problem solutions or courses of action to determine feasibility of alternatives and confer with leadership and supporting personnel to determine dimensions of problem and discuss proposals for solution
Prepare risk and/or threat assessments and briefs for agency leadership and subject matter experts and is always available on a rotational basis

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which must include the following experience: researching, analyzing, and producing oral and written products from classified intelligence, sensitive, or open source information related to supply chain and counterintelligence issues, which could adversely affect the nation's public health or public health infrastructure and global health initiatives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
A copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
