You will serve as a Travel Assistant in the Adminisration Department of STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS WING ONE.
Duties
You will serve as the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program manager, the Travel Coordinator and Defense Travel System (DTS) representative.
You will review and analyze reports to detect fraudulent and abusive card activity and report/brief result to manager for potential corrective/disciplinary action based on command directives and travel card guidance.
You will make travel reservations and coordinate flights.
You will track and ensure the resolution of the Disputed Transactions Reports.
You will monitor and analyze monthly billing and delinquency reports and certify monthly financial institutions official invoices.
You will extract, analyze and prepare/maintain statistical data on travel card usage and delinquent payments to assess performance.
You will perform internal reviews and audits of traveler credit card charges.
You will provide training to supervisors and cardholders on travel program access.
You will activate and deactivate accounts based on command policy.
You will advise the department head when additional funds are required, and coordinate increases to funding balances with the comptroller.
You will perform general administrative support functions such as receive telephone calls, greets visitors, receive incoming/outgoing mail, and respond to routine requests.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of clerical support duties (e.g. data input, personnel support, data gathering, preparing reports, correspondence, travel arrangements, and maintaining files) by using various systems (e.g. Defense Travel System) to support an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of 4 academic years above high school leading to a bachelor's degree in any field;
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
