About the Position: This Customer Service Representative position is located at Navy Branch Medical Clinic Washington Navy Yard

Duties

Receive visitors to the organization and refers them to the appropriate person or office. Provide information pertaining to outpatient service, hours of operation of various clinic services, shuttle bus schedules, and directions to patients and family members. Assist nursing staff with delivery of documents and lab specimens. Conduct patient interviews to obtain their feedback regarding services received. Receives and screens phone calls, obtains patient complaint data, delivers complaints/concerns to Patient Advocate Schedule patient appointments and resolves appointment scheduled errors.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 3 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
