You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the AMPHIBIOUS INTEGRATION BRANCH of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) analytics and metrics Team Leader.
You will provide technical support to Aircraft Carrier, Strike Group Combat Systems, Amphibious, and Amphibious Ready Group In-Service Engineering.
You will lead a team ensuring they are properly trained and focused on achieving branch, division, department, and Command goals.
You will be responsible for providing and reporting findings, progress, and recommendations via the Chain of Command.
You will be responsible for the development of a process to collect and record data for a metrics dashboard summarizing NSWC PHD Wholeness events.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing technical engineering projects and resources to prepare data reports and conduct the modernization, repair, and testing of ship systems for a warfare program.
