This position is located in Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, in the Administrative Division.

Duties
As an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), you will perform the following duties:
Provides accurate and reliable information on the administrative functions of the park, headquarters. Interacts with managers, supervisors, and staff members on matters related to administrative services.
Applies appropriate standards and procedures in the areas of 1) collection, safeguarding, and accounting of fees or donations; 2) intrest funds or charge cards; 3) payment of invoices and collection of funds owed; 4) internal controls and auditing of waste, fraud, and abuse, and 5) travel requests and vouchers.
Serves as technical resource to unit personnel on travel policies and regulations and provides information on travel allowances and requirements. Prepares travel authorizations and vouchers using automated systems and software for travel and voucher preparation.
Serves as advisor to the unit on procedures for the procurement of goods and services, and within delegated authority purchases supplies, equipment, and services for the unit utilizing a purchase card.
Serves as the primary timekeeper for the unit. Reviews time and attendance reports for employees and assures reports are correctly entered into Quicktime.
Serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the unit. Responsible for the administrative oversight of various administrative processes, which may include processing financial, procurement, property, human resources, and other administrative forms or documents for the unit. Maintains tracking logs, action items, and manages administrative suspense items and transaction records.
Qualifications
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-03/21/2024-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.
Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of specialized experience that you will be granted. An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience. For all other applicants who are not current federal employees, your resume must state either "full-time" (or "40 hours a week") or "part-time" with the number of hours worked per week to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. For periods of time that reflect military service, the DD-214 or Statement of Service is sufficient to meet the full and/or part-time hours requirement as the service dates will be reflected.
SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position performs typing and selectee is required to type at least 40 words per minute. Failure to meet this factor the applicant will be found ineligible for consideration. In addition to the selective placement factor listed above, to qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must also possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: performing various administrative processes such as processing financial, procurement, property, human resources and other administrative forms or documents for the unit; collecting and consolidating budget materials and data into annual unit budgets; and providing human resources information and assistance on the preparation of position descriptions, organizational charts, and/or request for personnel actions. You must include hours per week worked.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
